McCarrick thing is very disturbing. The Vatican was personally warned (One Peter Five) about him and up the ladder he went anyway. Just like Bernadine (and others). You can get a ghoulish sense that the whole power structure of the Church became before, during and after Vatican 2 a great place to hide out. It became and is a place for radicals, homosexuals and a great place to have a career with plenty of money and honors. And the sheep won’t get it because of their blind loyalty. What cads! Who have been the good men in this fight….have there been any at the highest levels? a disturbing suspicion falls on everyone.
