I’ve never understood the current blogosphere war over whether Francis is the true Pope. Whether he is or is not, one thing is absolutely certain; the Petrine ministry is not currently being exercised as it should. We currently do not have a Catholic occupying the Petrine office. Bergoglio is making mischief, it’s as simple as that. History will decide if he was or was not Pope but for now, he must be resisted……. to his face………as Paul said.
I think it makes all the difference in the world. There has never been a Pope who has deviated to these anti-Christ levels from Church Dogmatic teaching. This is not “mischief”. This is a neutron bomb at our core. The outside is as always. The inside is being fundamentally wrecked.
If an imposter is claiming the most important Office in the world (universe), under God, and ruling in precisely the way we would expect an imposter (anti-Christ) to rule, then nothing else matters until he is identified, removed and judged. Now. Not tomorrow. Not 150 years from now. He is wreaking havoc from top to bottom and souls inside and outside the Church are being delivered straight to Hell due to his Communist, Atheist one-world government promoting reign ….. *in the name of God*.
And I think we are well equipped to observe this objective reality and judge accordingly. The Church has given us every tool we need to judge whether an anti-Christ was given to the Church by faithless Cardinals.
I have never understood why any faithful Catholic is unwilling to take that logical step and claim an anti-Christ is who he is, based as it is on 2,000 years of Dogmatic Teaching, unified unchanging history – overwhelming evidence that grows by the day. And demand our Bishops and Cardinals act. Even if none do, just go on record before God (“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord!”). I do not accept anti-Christ. Only anti-Christ would admit sodomy to communion with our crucified Lord. Objectively true.
You called him “Pope”. So you consider that he is the true Pope? Lots of people don’t believe he is or are not sure. That’s my point. There’s a huge argument about it when the real issue is resisting his skullduggery and fighting the homosexual agenda.
I pretty much agree with everything else you wrote.
I’m not sure what he is truly, but since he’s not Catholic, I don’t think anybody should be forced to think he’s pope. Benedict’s abdication, the following conclave, and his own heresies should be investigated and tried, and he should be prosecuted for his secular crimes as well. So should all his heretic, state-funded PervBishops. Francis should be deposed and all his acts struck.
He has the title of Pope.
I do not believe he has the divine reality of the Office.
That is why I referred to him as “an imposter”.
The unseen divine reality is all that matters. And God is not constrained to accept a bifurcated Papacy and Emeritus Popes just because a faithless Pope and reigning Cardinals chose it.
Whether Francis is good or bad (as some focus on) is not relevant. He does not have the divine reality because the previous (and still reigning) occupant did not properly manifest his full and free resignation. This is obvious from his words and subsequent deeds.
As a non-validly elected Pope who does not have divine authority or protection, of course he will rule badly; as an anti-Christ actually. And this he clearly does in almost everything.
I think once this conclusion is reached, it is imperative to say so publically. I have done so to proper authority locally. That is my main point.
We cannot stay on the fence on this. Accepted. Or rejected. Very much like the decision for Christ actually. There are no actual agnostics. All must choose.

Regardless we are not to follow such a imposter that calls himself a ‘Catholic’ and is anything but. To keep up the argument as to whether or not Bergoglio is the ‘Pope’ we are really spinning our wheels. We should be putting our efforts into how to depose of him and how to deal with the anti Church that is now sharing the buildings, the sacraments, the liturgical and juridical space with the real Church, as Fr. Linus Clovis has rightly pointed out. THIS is what we need to be working on, not wasting time trying to figure out whether or not he’s an authentic ‘Pope’. History will sort all that out. We need to hang on to the real faith!
