Eric Sammons writes an article in toxic Catholic writers … while referring to the “vicious Mark Shea”, “ A wolf like Fr. James Martin can prey on Catholics with his sweet sounding heresies”, “mindless commentary”, toxic commentary”, “Trad trolls are the worst”.
Sounds to me like Eric is vicious enough himself. No one thinks they produce anything themselves that might stink. In his own mind – truth and charity from the pen of Eric Sammons esquire. It’s fine that he has strong opinions. It’s not fine that he presents his strong opinions as reasonable and everyone else’s strong opinions as vicious, unreasoning trolls.
Eric – no one will miss your closed comment section. We can go anywhere else we want for info. Men who get the vapors over vigorous debate and strong language are kind of pathetic. Don’t need Crisis. And I don’t need Hall Monitor Sammons to regulate what I or anyone else has to say.
