4 Thoughts on “Canon212 Update: Obediently Deferring to FrancisChurch Only Delays Your Doom

  1. Hi Frank,

The picture of the Virgin Mary on Father Nix’s post today is from the front cover of a book illustrated by daughter Rebecca Gorzynska.

It’s available on Amazon and the title is:

Marian Consecration for Families with Young Children https://www.amazon.com/dp/1681924900/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_XQ3RPX5T13NEQMC4Q05T

My daughter has many beautiful Madonna and Child paintings, available in her Etsy shop at Delphina Rose Art:

You’d think that there would be a lot more folks raising an eyebrow that the Vicar of Love has no special celebrations planned for this Valentines’ Day at the Vatican? After all, commemorating his first February 14th on the “Hill,” Francis invited many thousands of engaged couples to come for his “blessing.”
Three years later, he co-opted the feast of St. Valentine to promote his infamous Amoris Laetitia. “The Joy of Love” spread such fallacies as:
    — A priest administering the Sacrament of Reconciliation may sometimes absolve a penitent who lacks a purpose of amendment with respect to a sin in grave matter that either pertains to his or her ongoing form of life or is habitually repetitive.
    — Some of the faithful are too weak to keep God’s commandments; though resigned to committing ongoing and habitual sins in grave matter, they can live in grace.
    — No general moral rule is exceptionless. Even divine commandments forbidding specific kinds of actions are subject to exceptions in some situations.
    — If one bears in mind one’s concrete situation and personal limitations, one’s conscience may at times discern that doing an act of a kind contrary even to a divine commandment will be doing one’s best to respond to God, which is all that he asks…
—A consummated, sacramental marriage is indissoluble in the sense that spouses ought always to foster marital love and ought never to choose to dissolve their marriage. But by causes beyond the spouses’ control and/or by grave faults of at least one of them, their human relationship as a married couple sometimes deteriorates until it ceases to exist. When a couple’s marriage relationship no longer exists, their marriage has dissolved, and at least one of the parties may rightly obtain a divorce and remarry.
    — A Catholic need not believe that many human beings will end in hell.

So, the encyclical having been promoted as if ex cathedra worldwide, St. Valentine is for Francis no more of use. In fact, haven’t we now been told that joyfully getting the jab is the definitive act of love?

In the eyes of FrancisChurch, who needs Valentine’s Day, let alone acknowledgement of the saint himself, when all we need is the Vaxx? How can we forget the pronouncements of the Vicar of Public Service who insisted that Covid serums, however experimental and abortion-tainted, are safe and effective. He duly converted the narthex of Paul VI Hall into a landmark injection site, the jab thus commercialized not only as “morally acceptable” but an “act of love.” Francis, posturing as the new Valentinus, has said: “Being vaccinated… is an act of love. Contributing to ensure the majority of people get vaccinated is an act of love.”

Who was the holy Valentine whom FrancisChurch would so readily have us forget? He was a Christian physician and priest who lived in idolatrous 3rd century Rome where imperial decree had banned monogamy and marriage as a lifelong sacrament between man and wife. Valentinus continued to perform marriage ceremonies, giving parchment hearts to couples as reminders of their sacred vows. When finally arrested, Valentinus was first asked to heal the blind daughter of the Roman praetor. The holy physician placed his hands on her head and prayed, miraculously restoring her sight. Valentinus would not accept pardon from his death sentence unless other Christians who had been condemned with him be freed. Later, he baptized the judge, his associates and entire family who became Christians. The saint continued administering holy sacraments and curing the sick until taken prisoner by Emperor Claudius II himself. Refusing to renounce Christianity, the martyr Valentinus was bludgeoned and stoned before being beheaded. As an added humiliation, he died during the “Lupercalia,” mid-February Roman Festival of the Wolves, when the spirits of lechery and depravity were celebrated in public orgies and masquerade rituals. Two hundred years later, Pope Gelasius declared February 14th the feast of St. Valentine, “Our glorious advocate and protector.”
May St.Valentine on this day help faithful Catholics (and quoting from Archbishop Vigano)“take a stand against those who, in the name of a pseudo-science subservient to the interests [and idolatry] of the pharmaceutical companies and the globalist elite, have only intentions of death.”
