{"id":7308,"date":"2016-04-07T10:18:53","date_gmt":"2016-04-07T14:18:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/66.147.242.160\/~stumbli4\/?p=7308"},"modified":"2016-04-07T22:07:26","modified_gmt":"2016-04-08T02:07:26","slug":"primary-prediction-conservatives-and-republicans-will-never-meet-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stumblingblock.org\/?p=7308","title":{"rendered":"Primary Prediction:  Conservatives and Republicans Will Never Meet Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Yesterday I was standing in the yard when the recycling truck came by.\u00a0 I was surprised because it looks like a garbage truck but there&#8217;s only one guy manning it.\u00a0 Instead of two super athletes running behind dumping cans in the back there&#8217;s just one man who steps off his square behind the wheel, bends down and heaves the box of bottles into the side.\u00a0 Then he putters down to the next house.\u00a0 The really sad thing is, the poor guy has to wear a dust mask over his mouth, a &#8216;particulate respirator.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Do you know how hot, uncomfortable, disorienting, and unhealthy it is to breathe through plastic <em>your entire life<\/em>?\u00a0 It might be different if there were a point to it, but there&#8217;s no point to this germ-ism except to demonstrate power. It&#8217;s not like the man&#8217;s a surgeon.\u00a0 Maybe they&#8217;re concerned he may breathe in some microscopic shards of glass in which case they&#8217;d have to lower him into a medically-induced coma until they could meet with their team of lawyers.<\/p>\n<p>I feel so bad for people these days.\u00a0 You order a couple donuts from the girl at the register and she has to pull on a pair of those awful gloves, get the plastic tongs, and pick out your donuts.<\/p>\n<p>In more curbside news, I have a new dog and no fence so now I go on walks.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve never been an admirer of dog walkers.\u00a0 I can&#8217;t tell who&#8217;s walking whom.\u00a0 But what&#8217;s worse, I really don&#8217;t appreciate the baggies.\u00a0 Few are in my camp here.\u00a0 Can&#8217;t we have enough respect for each other not to make people walk around with dog poop?\u00a0 It&#8217;s not as if the dogs are messing up your whole yard.\u00a0 It&#8217;s just the edge near the sidewalk.<\/p>\n<p>I know.\u00a0 My dog&#8217;s not your problem, but when did this all start?\u00a0 People are going to get worms this way.<\/p>\n<p>I knew our way of life was over when they passed the seat belt law to try and stem the mayhem from their explosive air bags.\u00a0 I was confirmed in my opinion when they forced people to wear silly bike helmets.\u00a0 That was some years ago.\u00a0 Today what you might wish to do with your own self is irrelevant.\u00a0 I will not be surprised to find that in ten years I will have to wear a particulate respirator to walk my dog, if they even have dogs by then.\u00a0 Pets don&#8217;t keep pets.<\/p>\n<p>Where is this election headed?\u00a0 Trump himself said <a href=\"http:\/\/aleteia.org\/2016\/04\/04\/paul-ryans-three-catholic-rules-for-washington\/\" target=\"_blank\">something interesting<\/a> the other day.\u00a0 Trump isn&#8217;t interesting because he lies.\u00a0 He&#8217;s interesting because he actually tells the truth sometimes.\u00a0 He said, &#8216;Cruz is a tool of the Bush family and the party will abandon him in Cleveland.&#8217;\u00a0 There.\u00a0 Perhaps one of our rulers broke the code again and fed us poor minions a bit of the truth.<\/p>\n<p>Will it happen?\u00a0 I would think it&#8217;s likely.\u00a0 Paul Ryan was <a href=\"http:\/\/aleteia.org\/2016\/04\/04\/paul-ryans-three-catholic-rules-for-washington\/\" target=\"_blank\">mugging like a faithful &#8216;catholic&#8217;<\/a> yesterday in the appropriate socialist way.\u00a0 His four points of being a Catholic leader are, &#8220;subsidiarity, solidarity, the preferential option for the poor, and people are the solution.&#8221;\u00a0 There&#8217;s only actual Catholic point there.\u00a0 The rest are just hooks.<\/p>\n<p>An able story-maker, Trump is laying low at the moment.\u00a0 What will he do when the GOP moves?\u00a0 I think he very well may go third party.\u00a0 Everyone&#8217;s always suspected it.\u00a0 The only difference is Trump&#8217;s party would be<em> to the right<\/em> of the Republicans.<\/p>\n<p>Trump wants a wall.\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anncoulter.com\/columns\/2016-04-06.html\" target=\"_blank\">Cruz just decided to<\/a>.\u00a0 Trump wants to punish mothers who abort their kids.\u00a0 Both parties think that&#8217;s horrendous.\u00a0 Trump wants tax cuts, free market healthcare, and a business climate that&#8217;s not so anti-American, though you&#8217;d never know this from his press.\u00a0 Cruz talks like that, but has years of practice playing &#8216;good cop&#8217; to the Senate&#8217;s bad.\u00a0 He may be sincere or not.\u00a0 If Trump&#8217;s statement about Cleveland materializes, then Cruz would have been even more aware of the situation in advance.<\/p>\n<p>A popular third party candidate to the right of the Republicans will be different.\u00a0 Would Trump become president that way.\u00a0 Not likely.\u00a0 But if they broker the convention, whoever the GOP lands upon won&#8217;t win anyway.\u00a0 These people don&#8217;t need the presidency.<\/p>\n<p>This seems entirely unconventional and it is, for the U.S.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not unconventional however in Europe.\u00a0 In Europe they actually have three parties:\u00a0 the Socialists, the &#8216;Center-Right,&#8217; and the &#8216;Far Right.&#8217;\u00a0 The Socialists and the Center-Right are really both socialists.\u00a0 The normal, decent, and Christian people are the ones they call extremists, violent &#8216;xenophobes,&#8217;
