He bailed on the papacy because someone convinced him that it was for the best. He was Catholic, but he was weak, scared of something. It’s not waking up to think that Benedict was some alternate version of Francis/Kasper.

Frank, thank you so very much for speaking so clearly about what Hilary White and company are doing to demoralize those faithful to the Church and who appreciate the loyal and quality service of Pope Benedict to Her. What I remember of Pope Benedict is all those years before he was Pope when he served as Head of the CDF under Pope JP11. He defended the Faith over and over again against the onslaughts of the heretics. These maligners of Pope Benedict attribute to him motives that they have no way of knowing that he has or does not have. I am so glad you see him as I do. thanks again for saying it so clearly.
