We, the Church Militant, will not abide this grotesque twisting of foundational Catholicism for another minute.
Why do Catholics still depend on the Pope to be the final voice of authority? If the Cardinals cannot, or will not, elect a legitimate Pope, then they whole thing at that level is illegitimate. We have to point to a new authority that is beyond reach of the current RCC ruling structure.
Why don’t Traditional Catholics point to the Council of Trent as the Final Authority and go full schism on that? The rank and file Catholics, on their own authority, can judge their current priest and petition to remove him if he doesn’t measure up. Same for the bishops. The idea that there is no Salvation without being a member in good standing with Rome must be repudiated. Why? Because the Church itself is not in good standing. Something else must represent that Good Standing and be beyond reach of meddling.
Since we don’t have a Pope, and the Popes after Pius X have been illegitimate, then we have no choice IMO than to go that route. Our bishops must pledge allegiance to the Council of Trent and the traditions that arose from it. From that authority, Catholic priests can restore their authority to offer sacraments and hear confessions and absolve sins based on penances recommended by the old traditions. Your Salvation comes from that and not from a contaminated modernist Vatican.
All that said, I won’t return to the RCC until it goes full Crusades / Charles Martel and commences to clean out of a century or more of liberalism. We need a masculine and paternally-spirited church. I cannot abide by the womanist obsession with Mary and the feminine mawkishness that goes with it. Give me a fighting Church that’s only 20% of its current size and dedicated to reviving the White West as its primary goal. Let the 3rd world return to its primitive gods and religions that are organic to it. Save the West first. Then, by our example, we’ll have a God of Men that is worthy of preaching to the world again.
