This pontificate loves to choose words that have no meaning to the average Catholic: “inadmissible” in the case of capital punishment, “accompaniment” for those who persist in sin and refuse to repent, and now, “synodality” which will be spun as some poofy way of “listening to the spirit” or some other nonsense. So they select words that sound important but have no prior definition within Catholicism, and then they mold them to mean whatever they want, somehow still maintaining that they’ve been part of Tradition for 2000 years.
I forgot one: “clericalism.” What is evil about choosing these fluff words is that Francis has supposedly condemned modern-day “gnosticism,” but the very act of choosing previously- or rarely-used words, and then pretending that Francis and his allies are the only ones who know what they mean, is certainly gnostic. And evil.
I live a few miless from Swormville, it’s a sleepy little hamlet with an old renovated church where the Bishop tried to protect a perp.
People here are growing increasingly awake.
But the diocese has long been corrupt, not just concerning the current crisis, but also concerning the faith.
I saw that laughable video of joy or exhuberance. Where did they get these supposed young people? They look nothing of the kind! These people are old enough to have kids and careers. They look like actors, or in a dance troupe. There is no way these are ordinary Catholic young people. You would have to pay for young people to act like that. I work with young adults. This looks totally weird and staged. Another tip off is they always make sure they have one of every type, every racial group and even transgenders. Come on. What a farce.
Typical of this pontificate. A bunch of out-of-touch fluffyboys who think it’s really neat-o and hip to dance with the youth. However, Tagle really restrained himself during that dance; you know he really wanted to do a lot more jazz-hands, high prance and fancy feet. But then his ego got in the way and he realized that the much younger poofypants in the dance troupe would have outshone him, so he scaled back.
Francis is like a 6th grader who wins a “principle for a day” contest and eliminates homework, allows recess all day, lets kids out of detention, serves candy and ice cream for lunch, lets the students color on the walls, permits any kind of dress, and then yells at the teachers for being mean and grading too hard. But instead of just a day, it’s been like this for over five years.

Re: Tobin, yes, it is likely we’ll get Tobin. Francis will not be told. He is a megalomaniac, his ego is enormous, almost matched by his sense of vengeance if you go against him. After 5 years, it is very easy to figure him out.
