Lynn, I can’t thank you enough for that passage. We’re not hearing the voice of Eliot anymore. He is out of keeping with the zeitgeist of the age. I finished my paper on the Waste Land and The Second Coming, but it’s only 7 pages, not long enough for the argument I’m trying to make. I’m taking this English writing course in support of my son, who was failing it the first time he took it. I also need to be able to make killer arguments that stand up in a court of law. My mother was murdered, the police won’t investigate and my lawyer wants a coherent narrative. In essence I need to write a fictionalized version of what I believe happened. So I need support too.
