I am sure he is speaking in a generic sense, a sense of the body Catholic moving towards the throne of Peter to remove an infection, a tumor, a wound that must be excised, bandaged, treated and becalmed. He doesn’t know or describe what must be the composition of this body Catholic. He only knows the traitor must be removed from the papal throne and it’s rightful owner, according to, Bux , Pope Benedict, restored to his rightful place.
My grandmother had a saying, “if wishes were fishes we’d all be swimming in the ocean.” All Catholics of Tradition understand the need, but the means to the end won’t occur simply by the force of our will. Real world coalescing, strategizing, and marshalling of resources are needed. The battle of Lepanto was not won by prayers alone. For my part, I think that a piece of the strategy is to request an examination of Pope Benedict’s renunciation. It appears that one of the more forthright voices towards this end has a source who recently suggested that Bergoglio wants the forthright voice’s twitter account banned. Another saying you might have heard is that you know you’re over the target when you get flak.
It would seem that perhaps requesting an examination of the Feb 11, 2013 words of renouncement gets flak.
Spent time at Novus Ordo Watch in the past in particular, and learned about Benedict XVI. NOW destroyed any chance of my taking seriously any of the popes since 1958,,,, [ not a criticism; here is why!)…. in part because I compared what I found as a convert with what I knew as a person raised protestant in the Episcopal Church, and from having a seminary professor and Lutheran minister for a grandfather.
Research proves pretty well that Vatican II was well planned and diabolical – Bugnini certainly would agree about the planning involved. Who knows what he would say now. NOW does have information worth at least perusing.
That is why one person at least won’t ever be able to ‘unite’ to Benedict XVI. 🙂
@n: For argument’s sake after having informed yourself at NOW (but also as a convert to Catholicism knowing of the grace of conversion available through the sacraments and especially the Sacrifice of the Mass), would you even be able to consider the operation of that grace in Ratzinger/Benedict’s post-Vatican-II life and decisions?
Perhaps you are not of this category but many Trads and especially sedevacantists seem to me to prefer reveling in the division that Truth brings rather than even considering the possibility of pursuing unity in Truth. We know that through out-and-out lies but primarily through half-truths and ambiguities, satan perpetuates and revels in division. Does NOW promote unity or merely a kind of unified division? I know that NOW presents a lot of information, but to what end?
You and others have been clear that you will not unite to Benedict. Very well. Would you be willing to request an examination of his renunciation? In so doing you might at least aid in resolving the debacle that is Francis. Resolving the debacle that is Vatican II is another matter, but could you see yourself–without uniting to Benedict XVI–requesting an examination into his renunciation? On this point numbers will make a difference. I hope that you will consider making such a request. Thank you.

If I’m led to sedevacantism by way of heretical influences, then what does that tell me about my sedevacantism?
I would be happier with Benedict than with Francis. I’m glad that Patrick Coffin isn’t part of CA any more; he was among those I paid much attention to as I gained understanding of the situation with the Church as a convert and eventually I saw, he will have to make a decision.
@n: The point is Truth not preference. Thought experiment: Should Cdl Sarah have been ‘elected’ at the March 2013 ‘conclave’, he would be an anti-pope IF the examination of Pope Benedict’s renunciation declaration rules that the Chair of Peter has been occupied since April 2005 by BXVI.
