What I find most disturbing about “Canonists inc.” is the obvious targeting of “Traditionalists”, some of whom have been criticising the Modernist revolution since the Vatican II “open the windows” (and the floodgates) to secularism. Ever since Lefebvre and a few others withdrew from the madness following the Council there have been calumniators trying to reduce the SSPX and similar or related organisations to a “radical” and/or “reactionary” splinter group of nut-cases ignorant of the great “renewal” promised by the already present propagandists for a “New Age” “awakening”.
I agree that there are things in Lefebvre’s history that are, at least, questionable. However, I roundly condemn the implication that all the gallant men and women who have dedicated themselves in the Society for the propagation of the true Faith and the Sacraments are in any way culpable for the grandiose and egregious mere assertions that are levelled at them from both the “Super Trad Canonists” and the Modernists.
My guess is that the Masonic/Modernist cabal is is really worried by the resurgence of Catholicity in the laity and they want to throw T’Googlio Monster under the bus as a sacrifice to continue the “reform” of the Modernists of which Ratzinger is a prime apologist.
Even way back in the ’80’s I had a saying that JP II had invented a new dance that I called “The Papal Quickstep” it goes like this: Observation; “Uh Oh! things are going too wrong too quickly and the natives are getting restless”. Solution: “say something that appears Catholic and they’ll go back to sleep thinking “phew! we’re in good hands” while the Pope goes back to his jet setting and crowd pleasing while the Catholic Faith continues to be ravaged by the proponents of Relativism.

I contend, no! It seems to me that the present debacle was a long time in the planning and execution.
That Ratzinger is a long time proponent of the Modernist revolution is beyond dispute. And I contend that the present “Canonist inc.” is a con-job with the purpose of discrediting “Traditionalists” in favour of the Vatican II “New Age” oligarchy. We never hear any criticism of “The Synagogue of Satan”… the only ones to be castigated are the Catholicky types who, from their ground view, believe the Catholic Faith and defer to apparent authority.
Obviously, you will never publish such a serious question against the “Ratzinger is pope” meme.. Of course, you will contend that everyone is fallible except “Canonist inc.” Be fair! There are many good people who have spent much of themselves in defence of the Faith; without whom the new “magisterium” of self-appointed “experts” would never be possible.
But I’m not a ‘Ratzinger is Pope’ guy. I’m just not against them. They could be right for more than one reason.
