I picture the combat Priests saying Mass with soldiers in time of war.
What we value we will give our life for. Nothing, no power, can stop you from acquiring, keeping, nurturing that which you love.
As we see with the food and supply lines at the grocery – people value their lives and their comforts (tp). Long lines, crowded stores, shared shopping carts, multi-use pay pads. There is no question that we MUST have that.
But, as for Mass? Indefinite suspension during and beyond the summit of our Liturgical year – Lent, Cross and Death, Easter resurrection and ascension and power – everywhere cancelled and black. Not only that, but black as in “you are a murderer” (this has been said) if you want the Holy Sacrifice of Mass reinstated in these times. MUST . NOT . HAVE . MASS!
