Saving the lives of millions of babies from abortion and eternal separation from the beatific vision is not the “preeminent issue of our time” for U.S. Bishops to be concerned, but saving the thousands of lives of (mostly) elderly all of whom have had ample time to achieve the beatific vision.
He says to the Bishops:
“Saving the lives of countless – *souls infected with #COVID19* – IS the “preeminent” issue at this current moment in time“.
perhaps not realizing that his is a cry for help from a Catholic whose soul has lost sight of our Triune all powerful God because his soul has been infected with undue fear and trembling before the Covid19 virus god.
God parted the Red Sea so His chosen People could escape from slavery to the Pharaoh god (literally considered divine). God entered this world as Man, conquered sin and death. Our God is more powerful than Covid19. All he asks for is faith, trust, obedience unto death. I trust God, no matter the cost – “even though He slay me, yet will I trust Him” (Job 13:15). Whatever His will – I will conform my passions to will it with Him. Covid19 must be respected, as even the demons are respected in their constrained power, but not *feared*; not *obeyed*.
