To understand the Society of St. Pius X, why they are Catholic and of such heroic service in these dark days of apostasy, listen to what Fr. Robinson says: “SSPX are *under the Pope*, *in union with the Church*, *a Missionary Society*.”
They are able, unlike almost any other in the Hierarchy, to protect, defend and deliver the Holy Gospel to Catholics, and the world, because they are *missionaries*.
And in a Church that has welcomed apostasy into its heart, the missionaries remain and preach the Holy Gospel to we suffering Catholics.
The SSPX has been a petit ecclesia since Mons. Lefebvre consecrated his own bishops (if not before). They have their own tribunals and, long ago, they publicly admitted their putative authority :

What is interesting is the analysis of Professor Lamont over at C MTV of the sodomites in the SSPX because he has a son who received Holy Orders from that order (If memory serves) and so he has known these facts all along. Dr Lamont also avers he was in support of Mons Lefebvre consecrating Bishops against the will of the Pope with has never ever been thought of as permissible in Catholic Tradition.

The first American priest ordained into the Society of St. Pius X was one Father Gregory Post. One day, he took a plane flight and arrived at the San Jose, California, airport dressed in the fun regalia of an SS German army officer, complete with helmet, boots and swastika arm band. San Jose Pius X members who picked him up at the airport were indignant, and the then district superior of the society had to fly out to San Jose to reprimand the priest and cool off the situation.

Fr. Post made the mistake of answering the information in a letter to the editor, a letter teeming with lies.
Father Post must have been embarrassed when the district superior of the SSPX admitted all of the facts in a letter response to the liar Father Post.
Now we have heard endless denunciations of priests who dress like clown (rightly so) but there is aught but crickets when it comes to men like Fr Post.
Who’n’hell travels on an airplane dressed like a Nazi? And why was Fr Post only reprimanded rather than excommunicated?

ABS: Actually, Voris has not taken them down. They are, rather, the only Priests offering Holy Mass anywhere in earth. Jorgé Bergóglio (“Pope” Francis) took everyone else down. It’s dark everywhere in the world, except SSPX Missionary chapels. God bless them for that. I am sure God is well pleased.
When this is all said and done, CM will be like a balloon with a small hole in it. SSPX will continue on, faithfully defending Tradition and offering Jesus Christ to the Faithful.
