Pastor Bergóglio has taken up the common Protestant theme (I know, because I was born into that heretical sect) of Gospel freedom is the freedom to do whatever strikes your fancy with joy and fervor – “sin and sin boldly”.
It is also a Protestant thing to insult those on the Narrow Road That Leads To Life, aiming for the Small Gate, through which all must pass to gain heaven, as Pharisees and Legalists and Self Righteous (etc) … those who just don’t know how to have fun.
And all I can say is that Our Lord was a man of sorrow, acquainted with grief. He was offered the world with all its pleasures by Lucifer, and He turned it all down in favor of suffering, sorrow, penance and death. He told the rich young ruler, who had followed every law, save one, that he must sell all that he had if he wished to gain eternal life. Not one jot or tittle of the old Law passed away with the coming of the Gospel. He demands we lay down our life, take up our Cross and follow Him to Calvary. He who wishes to live forever, must first give up all and die to the world.
Pastor Bergoglio’s gospel is false. It is the gospel of Lucifer on the Mount of Temptation. It is the gospel of Larry Flynt. It is the gospel of feel good about yourself because God loves you no matter what you do. It is the gospel of Greasy Grace, and it is gross, futile and spiritual death. I became Catholic because true Catholics do not teach the Gospel of Pastor Bergóglio. Catholics demand all of our selves in return for all of Jesus Christ Our Lord.
Beware the errors of Protestantism. They sound good to those whose consciences are seared.
