“Grant me one century and more power to those who will serve me, and I will destroy it [the Church].”
Pope Leo XIII experienced this vision of the future in which the power of Satan would be unleashed for a period of 100 years. The predicted coming destruction of moral and spiritual values both inside and outside the Church so alarmed Leo that he ordered the Prayer to St. Michael to be said at the end of each Mass throughout the Catholic Church.
Who among us could deny the appalling evils which have beset the Church throughout the world? All around us swirls the heresy of Modernism, condemned by Pope Pius X, the movement to conform Church teaching to the standards of the atheistic and secular world. “This heresy is universal, a universality only matched by the extent to which its existence is denied or ignored amongst the faithful” [Michael Baker].
When did the 100 years begin? As a working hypothesis, however, I think we should take note of the spectacular Tienanmen Square celebrations, just two days ago, celebrating the centennial of Communism in China, i.e. Mao’s institution of the revolutionary “people’s party” in 1921, just a few years after the Bolshevik Communist revolution and the creation of the USSR.
Politburo Chairman Xi (the gate of the Imperial Forbidden City Temple of Peace behind him and the Mao Mausoleum facing him in the distance) spoke for over an hour about the messianic glory of Communism, after 100 years the “largest political party in the world,” to the applause of 70,000 Chinese seated in raptured, heavily surveilled attention in color-coded military formation. Have a look at this online and think of Fatima.
“As Death Vaxxers line up, one is carried away in a stretcher” – says your headline.
Click on the video. Yep, the Death Vaxxers are lined up, and watch the poor fellow hauled off. But he’s not just in a stretcher with any old symptoms, feeling unwell. No, no, no. This guy is in convulsions.
Those in line? “Huh. So, there’s that. Oh well. Keep it moving, up front! Go on! Almost there!”
Kind of like these guys … https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0-1aVVEKep0
