It is not that I disagree with SSPX Superior, Fr Pagliarani, on whether we should or shouldn’t take the vaccine. I do disagree. I vehemently disagree. It’s that his reasoning is so shallow to support his conclusion.
According to Pagliarani, three my position is not just wrong but anti-Catholic:
“these people are against the vaccine “in the name of individual freedom, human dignity, human rights.”
He reduces this to the slogan “With my body I do whatever I want” and equates it with the abortion cry “My belly belongs to me,” thus indiscriminately comparing a human right to a crime as if children were part of their mothers’ “belly.”
Vaccine critics follow the same principles like fighters for human rights or freedom, Pagliarani believes, “We find again the same principles of the New Order started 300 years ago in the name of human rights, human dignity.”
In summary:
1: We are disobedient, self-centered libertarian democrats (small d).
2: We are no different than those who favor and procure abortion
3: We are no different than those who used liberty to tear down authority and led us to liturgical anarchy.
Fed up. Intolerable. Retraction mandatory.
They really, really, really, *really* want that juice in our bodies. Why, Fr. Pagliarini? Why? It is dangerous in more ways than one, and everyone now knows it doesn’t even work.
Since when did Priests take on the role as deciders of science and politics questions? Sorry Father, but you’ve exceeded your competence and bounds of spiritual authority if you think you can order me and my family to take a vaccine. And the logical path you take to get to your conclusion is, predictably, deficient in its connection to Dogma – your true competency.
Yes – I am very angry. Very, very angry. I won’t take it just because you say I have to.
After watching the entire video, upon which my above criticism is based, I retract much of what I said in critique of Fr. Pagliarani. I watched an excerpt and drew incorrect conclusions based on the excerpt.
The good news is that he is not advocating or even justifying the vaccine.
The point of his speech is not to justify the vaccine. The point of his speech is to be agnostic upon the topic of vaccines and assert it is not the role of the SSPX to decide upon such questions.
I don’t think a Catholic, especially a Catholic Priest, can be agnostic on this topic. People are willing to lose everything over this, which means that many of us see this as more than just a practical issue where you can ride the fence – which is what SSPX is trying g to do here. The vaccine is evil. The vaccine is deadly. The vaccine goes into the essence of our physical nature and alters us at the level of DNA. There is no informed consent. There is only compulsion.
Fr. Pagliarani gives an example of a father who is the sole provider for his family, and their income is dependent upon getting the vaccine. If you refuse the vaccine, then you suffer hunger, poverty, hardship – both you and those you love. SSPX position is that it is morally permissible to take the vaccine in order to provide for your family.
This is wrong.
How is this any different from permissions granted to an unwed mother who faces “hunger, poverty, hardship” unless she eliminates the immediate cause of her dillema growing in her womb?
The practical is not relevant in this issue. It is either right or it is wrong.
Fr. Pagliarani completely ignores all the reasons why those who refuse are willing to lose everything for the sake of not taking the evil shot. It is not neutral. It must be rejected for reasons most of us already know – not least of which is that it is in direct violation of all ten paragraphs of the Nuremberg Code. Does he or anyone even know what is being injected? No one does. I do t even think the makers fully understand. But Fr. Pagliarani is willing to allow the Faithful to inject it anyway.
And so … as I inform my employer, and then the State agent who appears at my door demanding compliance … what religious reason do I have to support my position? Fr. Pagliarani has spoken and declared there is nothing morally compromising in the vaccine. Take it, if you must.
I profoundly disagree. It is evil. Full stop. I will never take it without a fight. I wish the SSPX was with me, since I stand pretty much alone right now.
We never stand alone when we have the spiritual company and example of so many Christian saints, martyred from the first to the fourth centuries A.D. for refusing to offer that little incense ‘pinch’ (pun intended) to honor the gods of Rome and keep their freedom.
Months ago, Archbishop Schneider decried the same sort of thing going on today. There are the faithful who stand for God, and those who instead collaborate in vaccination derived from the gravely sinful use of cell lines in the fetal industry. He condemned the “great irresponsibility of the Church, even of the Vatican and of theologians who tranquilize and calm the conscience of the people, and who in this way are paralyzing the resistance.”
Shouldn’t we take some comfort in understanding that it’s only “the same old” that looks new again? Our universal human shopping cart contains the same anti-1st Commandment groceries that have always been in stock and never go stale. Chief among them is Pride, trait of those who blindly justify their feeling of being center of the world and those who treat others as objects and tools in pursuit of power. The unstoppable, soulless, robotic forces of Pride keep attempting to demand the fuel of human sacrifice.
Perhaps it is Pride, in these “enlightened” times, that induces people to worship a virus, and desert God. Is civilization now so “advanced” that suffering and even dying for the Faith is considered absurd? Why now do so many feel that online virtual services are enough, forgetting that Jesus endured the bitterest passion and crucifixion in order to save humanity? Do people really believe God wants surrender to an all-encompassing secular order, in which men and women function as pawns in a Brave New World technocracy?
“Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Jesus’ own words are echoed by Archbishop Vigano who recently wrote that “If our opposition is firm and courageous like at the time of the martyrs, we will have done our part to obtain from heaven those graces which can change the lot of humanity and… [even] the deep state will withdraw…”
Pagliarani equates the Deathvaxx to healthcare in precisely the same way Abortion advocates equate infanticide to healthcare.
