God has not permitted the Bergoglian Antipapacy without a plethora of warning signs that he is a False Pope and the culmination of the great apostasy in the Church that Our Lady Herself forewarned at Fatima.
As God asked Job, “Where were you when I created the Universe.”
I wasn’t around either. So we just have to roll with the punches and counterpunch the great apostates when opportunity calls.
But yours are fair questions. I would respond to the first that God permits it to purify His Church. If you adhere to Bergoglio, and his criminal clerical Homosexual Network Strangling the Church, you will be lost. That goes double for priests and prelates.
As to the second, as the warning signs are there, let men be so forewarned. People are the skippers of their own souls. To save which, read up on the heresies of and unceasing acts of destruction of the Church by Bergoglio.
To counter, I’d suggest: Prayer, fasting, reparation for the offenses against the Immaculate Heart and Sacred Heart (at which the Antipope excels, as do his minions like McCarrick et al.). Take refuge in the Immaculate Heart, the Rosary and the Scapular. Get to the Sacraments while we still can, especially the Old Latin Mass and Confession.

Let us each, forced out into the dark and stormy deep, cling in faith to the unsinkable debris of the true Cross. Let us await in joyful certainty the “Skipper of Souls,” Who will come to the rescue in due time.
Dear Maxine, I wouldn’t say the Barque of Peter has been run aground, but rather that there is a mutiny which the Lord is allowing to take place for HIs own purposes, and for our own good. We should never abandon the ship, but rather stay and fight the mutineers as they steer the ship into rocky and stormy waters. Our Lord, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, will eventually arrest the mutineers and punish them severely. By this analogy, I’m not implying that seeking refuge with the SSPX, for instance, is abandoning the ship. I think we’re probably in perfect agreement — it’s more the case that analogies are never perfect.
