After misquoting St. Paul, Parolin showed an astonishing ignorance of Latin and Greek, or willful deceit, in telling the journalists that “Communication contains the root ‘communion.’ Communion is in the DNA of communication, and is fundamentally its greatest aspiration.”
The Greek word KOINONIA implies some sort of association, partnership, relationship, union. Its Latin counterpart is COMMUNIO: CUM (with, as) UNUS (one), implying community.
The Greek word EPIKOINONIA implies that which has no relation to unity or union but rather relates to that which “comes before,” namely what is imparted, transmitted, said, informed. Its Latin counterpart is COMMUNICATIO, that which is made public, duly given and commonly shared.
By chance or by design, Cardinal Malaprop Parolin still managed to get the Bergoglian message across, raising a glass to Unity (i.e. globalism, communism) as the Alpha and Omega of the media mob and the Communications industry.
To all those Priests who have been refused “permission” to pray the Tridentine Mass, which right is enshrined in perpetuity by Pope St Pius V: the withdrawal of “permission” is invalid, illegal on its face. Disobey the order. Celebrate the Mass as if the order to disband did not even exist – since it is illegal it actually does not exist, in point of fact. Celebrate the Mass. Let the Bishop declare his anathemas in public and with specificity. Stand up, and defend Jesus on the Cross with bravery and a clear conscience. This is the sum and substance if our Catholic Faith. NO ONE can take it from us!
One of the best Catholic blogs, Fr. Cusick’s “A Priest Life”, makes this very encouraging observation about brave, saintly Catholics in a time of persecution.
He references Arbp LeFebvre specifically, but his point applies to us all. In this article he shows that LeFebvre remained on the tight, true path of light between the faithless schismatic Modernists of Vatican II NuChurch on one side and the faithless schismatic Sedevacantists on the other.
