Actually, the Gospel (and all Catholic Truth) *can* be proclaimed that way – which is why he noticed it as such and comments against it. He doesn’t like evangelism (proselytizing), and so … that which is effective, he speaks out against it.
That doesn’t mean that those who proclaim the Truth “at one’s computer ONLY proclaim the Truth at one’s computer. That is the fallacy of the false dichotomy or false dilemma.
For instance – I took a few moments to read Bergoglio’s latest insult to Catholics, such as myself, responded, and now I’m going to have lunch with my large family of special needs children. We adopted these kids because, as Catholics, we were convicted in conscience by the Holy Magisterium to be fully open to life in practical and meaningful ways. IOW: I can do two (or more) things at once! Amazing, no?
