Bravo to “Braveheart” Mel Gibson who last July proclaimed full support for the recently excommunicated Archbishop Viganò, whom he praised as a “a modern day Athanasius,” and with whom he agreed that the “post conciliar church of Vatican II is a counterfeit church.” Gibson wrote that “being called a schismatic and excommunicated by Jorge Bergoglio is like a badge of honor when you consider him a total apostate who expels you from a false institution.” Gibson told Vigano: “I am with you and I hope Bergoglio excommunicates me from his false church also.”
So, I doubt that the likes of Gibson, Bishop Strickland, you or I will be rushing off to Rome to celebrate and subsidize the “Jubilee” New Year, much less even think of passing through the Porta Stunta Sancta of Francis’ “Magic Kingdom.”
