7 Thoughts on “Canon212 Update: Our Lord’s Separating Sword Comes Down Slow

Mr. Walker says, “Right in the middle of all this…Cdl Burke is doing something good… saying something Catholic” while also reassuring whom that he’s “never been out of communion with Francis”? Yeah, Cdl Burke, you remain an enigma. I hope the visitors to Wisconsin’s Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine request an examination into the real “gorilla in the room”.

The ‘guerilla’ in the room is Pope Benedict’s renunciation declaration. Without it there would never have been a cardinals’ retreat, a faux conclave. That is THE focal point, THE point of departure for these unprecedented times.

We love these updates, thank you for them. We appreciate them more and more.

I don’t feel I should say this in many venues and maybe shouldn’t express it here, but in my opinion there are no heroes on the horizon. God can raise up one or a thousand up tomorrow, but there are none today. We were clinging to scraps and hope, and neither one panned out. The case could be made against Bergolio, but since there is no will to do it, it will not happen. BXVI abdicated, he left us this. This situation is so bizarre and full of such unbelievable aspects one feels anything could happen at any time. Surely this cannot continue.

Thank you. I think that the Epstein people who rule the world are so powerful that none in the Church are able to make much difference right now. But God is more powerful. And He hasn’t abandoned us. Neither has His mother.

  3. Anyone who believes our corrupt government, with eyes and ears everywhere, when they tell us Epstein committed “suicide”, would also follow orders to vaccinate every child on schedule, hand in their “assault weapons” when they have mental health issues, and pay every tax due, on time.

  4. My only worry, that recurs periodically and which causes me to gradually seek to reduce contact with ‘news’ is that it is so very very distracting. New every morning, it is a draw, but a suspect one. I understand that in a way I need to be ‘informed’ on what is going on…. but, even though that’s true, particularly since I am approaching a VII Carmel hereon Oahu hoping against hope it’s not too ‘far gone’ as an order… I think I see that God really will provide all I need in the way of discernment (I’ll meet them in September) even if I NEVER read any Church news again starting now. I do, after all know what questions the answers to which matter more than anything else…

As to the cause for such thinking…. I think partaking steadily of a stream of really good books, in pdf form online and in other ways – most recently Treatise on Divine Love, and the Letters of St. Francis de Sales, and now, Mystical City of God (I’m in volume 2, and am also listening to librivox’s audio version, a work in progress by an excellent reader)…. really does bring into unavoidable focus the dangers consumption presents – it doesn’t matter of what, if it is not entirely connected with getting me to remain in abjection. Constant processing, as long as I look in its direction, of the news, has a subtle draining effect. I see it, sorry, as coming not from a good place, simply because it seems so… addictive.

I’m writing with Frank in mind especially, since he has to work with the material to perform his service! It’s in the form of a mini drudgereport, which I gave up for the exact same reasons, during the 2016 election. I think he can notice very well when any jeopardy of his soul comes into play and taking precaution simply involves detaching even further as he works. There is no site like canon212, so, he merits especial protection.

Thank you, my friend. These weeks I don’t pray as much as I should. That is the antidote to excess news. 🙂 Please God we can all get to Mass as much as possible.

The U.S. bishops have never been anything but cowards. They have never truly defended Catholicism. They claim it is prudent to keep silent about the Truth when you are a minority. That never occurred to the Apostles or the millions who sacrificed their lives defending the true faith, did it?
