ALL IT WOULD TAKE TO END THE BERGOGLIAN ANTIPAPACY WOULD BE A MAN IN A POSITION OF AUTHORITY, SUCH AS A CARDINAL WHO MIGHT BE THE DEPOSED PREFECT OF THE APOSTOLIC SIGNATURA, OR SOMETHING, TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING SIMPLE PRESS STATEMENT

Fr. Z has good commentary on Bergoglio’s latest thoughts on the Mass, called Desiderata something (who cares?) …
In it, Bergoglio refers to those with “an attachment to the TLM” as nihilists”.
I have decided it is better to not parse and argue the language of antipope Bergoglio. The language and logic is literally infernal. That statement, excerpted above a prime example. You argue with that, you’re doomed. Simply quote relevant Scripture (or Sacred Tradition), like Jesus did to the devil when tempted in the wilderness … then turn your back on the black-hearted interlocutor, and turn toward the Sacred Heart of Jesus. No debate. No words. Nothing.
Twisted, perverse logic.
Attachment to the TLM? Actually it is simply Catholicism. Catholics live in Sacred Tradition. It is our spiritual air. The Tridentine Holy Sacrifice of the Mass of Pope St. Pius V and his Dogmatic Council of Trent is the Crown Jewel of Sacred Tradition – the Dogmatic Council sourced this Mass in antiquity and guaranteed its Dogmatic fidelity and spiritual efficacy and the Pope this guaranteed it as all Catholics’ sacred right for all time, forever.
It is not “an attachment”. It is the Mass of Angels given to us by God in heaven. It is ours. We will fight for it. We will never give it up, those of us who are Catholic, that is.
Bergoglio is the vicar of satan.
First let me say I love the headline of this segment, “make it bleat”, lol.
As usual Aqua has an important point. I pity Fr. Z and faithful priests who love the faith and have given their lives to it. Imagine doing that and being yoked with a curse like Bergoglio. The laity have a burden but it is nothing compared to faithful men like Fr. Z and the cancelled priests or those not cancelled but trying to walk that line. May God send the remedy soon, because these men have to live in that world while laity get to live independently of it. Regardless, Aqua’s point, we are not giving up the Mass of Angels and arguing Bergoglio’s words is now clearly dialoguing with the devil or trying at least to counter his words. Fr. Z is probably trying to help Catholics see the errors in Bergoglio’s words, but Catholics who are going to get it, get it. Bergoglio is as evil a man as you could find on this earth. No need to say why, most know why. @ Steve, I agree with you.
Why does the SSPX not take in our cancelled priests. This is a question I would like answered. I consider the SSPX our “go to” if things fall totally apart, but sometimes they seem to play it safe. Are they concerned the pope might censure them in some way if they gave cancelled priests a place to go to be Catholic priests? If that is so, that is cowardly and, not inspiring. The SSPX to me, seems to keep their heads down very low.
I completely with you, Evangeline, in regards to Father Zuhlsdorf, who merely serves as “icon” (as it were) for all the silent, suffering, but “invisible” faithful Priests, in every other way just like him, on the front lines of spiritual battle, every day.
I will say, also, to whom much is given, much is required. And also, to those who endure such trial and prevail, their reward will be immense … not least of which will be communion with all the Saints whose souls they saved, now with them in the Beatific Vision – choirs of Angels and Saints.
Mike Lewis, who runs a blog, opines that Bishop Strickland is less orthodox than Cardinal Cupich; and that Bishop Strickland is more suited to Congregationalist Protestantism than Catholicism.
He makes this error because his base premise is in error.
Catholicism is whatever the titular Pope says it is, without regard to Dogma, the Constant Magosterium, Sacred Tradition or Scripture. If the Pope abrogates the Catholic Church and gives us NuChurch to replace it, ecumenical and merciful and tolerant of all religious expressions (except Catholicism) … then THAT is orthodoxy by definition. Because he said it, and so it is.
My base premise starts with the words of Jesus Christ and the Divine Revelation which ended at Patmos with St. John. From there it extends to the Apostolic Line in which every valid Pope is equal and every Apostle has an equal say. Sacred Tradition, the Constant Magisterium and especially its Dogmas and Creeds govern me supremely above all things – they are the light that leads me to my God in Heaven through the Queen, Mary Mediatrix of all Graces. The Pope, *if he is a valid Pope*, will lead me into all Truth and I will obey and submit to his authority without question.
The first premise leads into all error and a Protestant faith.
The second premise is Catholic and protects from all error.
Cardinal Cupich is a Cardinal in NuChurch.
Archbishop Strickland is a Shepherd of the RCC.
No matter one’s belief, The RCC stands like a rock which will prevail against all enemies, spiritual and physical, most certainly.
