Oh my gosh it’s nuts out here, Frank, but there you are talking about things and it doesn’t feel as lonely as it would. It didn’t make your headlines yet but the founder of the St. Thomas More Society’s house was attacked by satanic demon thugs who announced they were going to be there, and the cops just sat back and let them totally vandalize this good man’s house and property. Where are we. This is not America.
That was good advice to the priests, Frank. I get it too, they work hard to be there, they have a vocation and they love Christ and want to serve Him and His people, but does God really intend His faithful priests to be tortured or mistreated by bishops who are so evil they would actually treat them that way? That makes no sense. There is a time to walk away. What is your mental health worth. What is your life worth. If Fr. Foucald actually did kill himself because he was caught in one of these situations, it is profoundly evil. There is life beyond the priesthood! To leave it would be a tremendous sacrifice itself, to offer to God and suffer with Him. It is not a failure to leave, it is a failure on your bishop’s part and he will answer for it. Priests can go on and live as a chaste Catholic is supposed to live. There are many jobs out there to be had. You can support yourself and live a good and holy life. I just can’t comprehend this. God help faithful priests.
