Eric Sammons, Crisis Mag, has this to say about Bergoglio: “ Ultimately, having serious concerns about Francis while still accepting the legitimacy of his pontificate demands humility. It recognizes that we as individual Catholics do not have the authority to say who is or who isn’t the pope.”

Get a grip, man. Just admit it, there is no possible way this force of anti-Catholic nature is the Pope. Are you submitting to his authority in every possible way? Or are you, like most Catholics, just ignoring him and hoping the nightmare ends soon? Does that sound like a legitimate Pope to you?

It’s ok. The Church is still the Church. We have an antipope. We’ve had them before. We have to deal with it. The only way we can be spiritually hurt is by pretending all is well when all is not well. Stop pretending. Man up. Look at the facts. Do something about it.

I agree. Francis is nothing but sand, there is no rock in him. Wherever the winds of modernism blow, there he goes. As the parable says, a house built on sand falls. With Francis’s Church collapsing on so many levels, how can anyone think his papacy is anything close to, “the rock.”

  2. ABC reports: “Pope Francis said he would not live in the Vatican or return to his native Argentina if and when he ever retires, but would instead like to find a church in Rome where he could continue hearing confessions.”

And just like that … there is no longer any such thing as Papal abdications. Five in prior bi-millennial history. Now, every single one. No big deal. Retire. With all the other retired Popes hanging around the Vatican. Ho hum. So what?

Munus and Ministerium are such divisive words. Now we just have active and inactive. The Holy Papal Office? Gone. Active Bishop of Rome. Inactive Bishop of Rome. Head of the World Synod of Bishops, I suppose.

Pope Emeritus. This is the mother of all heresy and almost nobody even saw it happen. Almost nobody cares. Whatever man. Bishop of Rome Emeritus he says. What’s that? Who knows. Wave the magic wand and now it is what it is.

Too bad for Pope Celestine V. If he’d only known the power he had to do whatever, however, whenever he pleased. He was not bound by Sacred Tradition or law. He WAS Tradition, he was the law. He could have had a nice pension, a home in the Vatican, maid and meal service and a rocker. Instead he went to jail.

Retired Popes. Unlimited numbers of retired Popes wandering around doing whatever retired Popes do. That’s how it will now be.

Interesting series of articles in your blog today …

First, in Ireland, total collapse of the Irish Catholic Church. Their response? More of the same – “… As the reality begins to hit home, Fr Duffy said that Catholic Church at a higher level will be forced to face deeper questions. Fr Duffy asked “Who is going to provide the Eucharist in the future? We have to try and find solutions. If we don’t consider issues like women priests and married clergy, we are only fooling ourselves. If we miss this opportunity now, it is a decision to let it all collapse.”

And then, in this country, the well fed “intellectual”, George Weigel, has this to say about the current state of affairs – “… It is also false, egregiously false, to suggest that Council rejectionism is a major force in the twenty-first-century Church. Council rejectionism is a fringe phenomenon, increasingly cranky and shrill. The advocates of Catholic Lite, having lost the War of the Conciliar Succession theologically and needing a bogeyman to attack, now find it tactically useful to wildly exaggerate the number of conciliar rejectionists and their impact in the Church. Those with responsibility for the Catholic future will not be deceived by nonsense about rampant, widespread Vatican II rejectionism, irrespective of the source of that nonsense.”

The physical and spiritual collapse of the Catholic Church quantifiably began coincident to *The* Council (Concilliarists always refer to it in the singular … there is only one that really matters to them). Over 50 years of ongoing and accelerating collapse, ending now in the current (literal) clown show they call Mass.

Fr. Duffy wants women Priests and married Priests.
George Weigel wants more Concilliarism and less Tradition.
Both of them are feeding the direct cause of Church collapse.

SSPX and FSSP Seminaries are overflowing with quality men. SSPX is now the fifth largest Order of Priests in the world. And their numbers, both in Priests and Laity, are expanding and accelerating exponentially. Case closed.
