M Voris doesn’t realize it, but this view he holds actually reveals he is the one in schism, since he doesn’t submit to the Papacy, the Holy Seat of Peter, the Vicar (Viceroy) of Christ *as Christ establsihed* on His own direct authority at the primordial beginning.
There is no such thing as a “bad” Pope in the RCC of Eternal Rome. ALL Popes are blessed of God and are in direct spiritual communion with God Almighty in the Person of Jesus Christ. They are human, sure, and some have more frailty, spiritual or intellectual limitations than others. But ALL of them – the validly elected Popes who occupy the Papal Office – belong to Christ Himself, no less than St. Peter in all his well known weaknesses and limitations.
It is the Office we revere. It is Jesus Christ *behind and transcending* the Office whom we worship. The man who occupies the Office we revere as Vicar (Viceroy, I like to call him) of Christ, visible manifestation of Jesus Christ our King WHATEVER his limitations might be.
And there is no Vicar of Christ in history who acted against His Lord and the Lord’s Commandments and revealed will and religion.
We kneel in veneration before every validly elected Pope because through him, whatever his limitations, we see Jesus Christ in the Pope’s visible presence. And so, once again, there is no such thing as a “bad Pope, a really bad Pope”. Only in the time of antipope do we even think such thoughts.
